For the serious fire-chef, the Grande has two separate height-controlled cooking decks. Cook completely differently on each, or just use half for a smaller group. Perfect for up to 25 people  just keep topping up the ember maker with logs.

With 75% more cooking space than the Asado at 900mm × 440mm, the Grande gives you room for a full spread. Big enough for family feasts, pub kitchens, caterers, and hospitality venues.

Cor-Ten is weathering steel. It's designed to develop a rust-coloured patina over the first few months of outdoor use. That patina isn't damage it's the steel protecting itself. Once it forms, it seals the surface and stops corrosion going any deeper.

So the short answer is: leave it alone. No painting, no treatment, no annual oiling. Just cook on it.

A few things worth knowing:

Early days. When your Cor-Ten Grill first arrives, the surface will look like raw steel. Over the first few weeks outdoors, especially after rain, you'll see the patina start to develop. It's uneven at first, then settles into a deep, even rust-brown over a few months. That's normal.

Run-off in the early stages. While the patina is forming, rainwater can carry rust-coloured run-off onto whatever sits underneath. Worth bearing in mind if it's standing on light-coloured stone or decking. Once the patina has settled, run-off stops.

The cooking surfaces. The V Grill, ember maker top, and any stainless steel parts can be brushed clean after each cook. A wire brush while still warm does the job.

Covers. A cover isn't necessary for protection, but if you'd rather slow the patina or keep it tidier-looking between cooks, you can use one.

Lifespan. With no intervention at all, expect 25+ years of cooking. The patina protects the steel beneath for the long haul.

Is UK delivery free?

Yes. Delivery is free to UK mainland, Scottish Islands, and Northern Ireland, and included in all prices shown. For Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, we add a £85 surcharge.

How long does UK delivery take?

Gunmetal Grills are usually in stock, so delivery is 2–3 working days. When on pre-order, estimated delivery times are shown on the product page. Need next-day or Saturday delivery? Get in touch and we'll arrange it.

Once dispatched, you'll get a tracking email so you can follow your grill's progress. We'll also contact you to arrange a delivery day that suits you.

How does delivery work?

Because of the size and weight (65kg+), each grill is delivered fully assembled on a standard pallet by specialist courier. The courier will unload by tail-lift to the kerbside or entrance of your property, getting as close as possible to where you need it. On gravel drives the lorry will get as close as it can.

Deliveries run Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm. Saturday deliveries available on request.

All grills with Woodstore stands have heavy-duty castor wheels, so they're easy to move into place. The standalone Asado takes two people to carry. The Grande takes four.

Access considerations

Delivery addresses need to be accessible by 7.5t lorry. A few things worth knowing:

• If your property can't be accessed by 7.5t lorry, extra shipping charges may apply. Get in touch and we'll sort it
• If you have narrow access to the rear of your house, we can deliver the grill broken down into a few sections for easy reassembly
• Larger outdoor kitchen orders may come on a dedicated van

Can you ship outside the UK?

Yes, throughout Europe via FedEx TNT on pallets. Select your country of delivery from the dropdown at the top right of the website to see VAT-free Euro pricing. Delivery cost is added at checkout.

European delivery charges:

• France, Belgium, Netherlands, Ireland: £195
• Germany, Scandinavia, Italy, Greece: £395

Just before delivery, FedEx will contact you to pay any local VAT and duties.

We don't ship direct, but we can recommend Algarve Removals, who offer an online shopping service. We'll deliver free to their UK warehouse for you.
