Welcome to the baby of the Family - the small, but perfectly formed Mini. Small enough to carry anywhere, yet the perfect size Grill for smaller Families to Empty Nesters, easily cooking for 2 to 6 people at home as well.
Retaining all the key features and ease of use of our larger Asado Grills, like our height adjustable Grill surface for temperature control, and making your own charcoal with our Ember maker. All shrunk down in size and weight, but still incredibly versatile and capable as an all round Grill.
Compact Design, Same Authentic Features
We haven't shrunk your cooking space too much though. The cooking surface is 26cm x 46cm, and is rectangular rather than egg shaped - and then you get even more with the 23cm x 16cm optional ember grill that you can warm or sear on too. Perfect for several steaks or fish, as well as frying or simmering at the same time, you can feed 6 or more people from it easily.
Cook More, Enjoy More
Don’t let the compact size fool you. The main cooking surface is a generous 26cm x 46cm, complemented by the 23cm x 16cm Ember Grill, perfect for warming or searing. That’s nearly twice the cooking space of portable Kamados, allowing you to grill steaks, simmer sauces, and fry sides simultaneously. Ideal for feeding up to 8 people with ease!
Quick Cooling and Hassle-Free Transport
The Asado Mini cools down quickly—ready to pack up in just 15 minutes after use (with safe disposal of embers). At only 25kg, it’s lightweight enough for two people to carry, thanks to flexible handles on either side. Compare that to heavy portable ceramic BBQ weighing 40kg or more!
Use it at home too...
The Mini sits perfectly atop our prep tables too, so you can have the best of both worlds. Take it with you when out and about cook at home when you are there.

- An Ember Rake to easily manage and distribute embers for optimal heat control.

Gunmetal is our standard finish, and is mild steel, dark anthracite in colour. Before it leaves our factory, we oil treat it to protect it. Treat it like a wok, and if any surface rusts appears, rub it down and apply any vegetable oil to protect it. If kept under cover, should be trouble free.
Can my Mini be left outside year-round?
Yes, our grills are designed to be outside all year round, with autumn and winter being our favourite times of year for wood-fire cooking. When not in use, put the cover on.
How does my Mini grill weather?
Your Mini Grill base is raw steel, so if left untreated it will gain a rusty patina over time. For this reason, we pre-oil your Grill with rapeseed oil for protection so you just need to add fire to finish the seasoning process off - just like seasoning a wok or cast-iron pan.
Long-term you have two options:
Option 1: Keep seasoning your Gunmetal grill and keep covered when not in use. The ember maker will need a quick coating of rapeseed oil after each cook due to the heat in this area, whereas the rest of the grill will just need doing when needed.
Option 2: Let it weather naturally and develop its own patina over time. The thickness of the raw steel base means it will last 10 years without any issues.
